ABOUT CURTAINCOUNT
A shopping unit
that matches the plan.
Curtaincount translates your rail measurement and chosen fullness into the units you actually purchase: ready-made packs or linear metres of fabric.
Ready-made panels
Individual finished panel widths determine the minimum panel count. Pack contents determine the number of whole packs to buy. The result shows both counts, combined flat width, and the difference between your target drop and a product drop if one is entered.
Fabric cut lengths
The fabric model uses full-width drops. Each usable width is the raw fabric width minus two entered side allowances. Each cut length is the desired drop plus top and bottom allowances. A chosen purchasing increment can round up the total linear metres.
Fabric widths may be joined into finished curtain panels, so the full-width drop count is intentionally separate from a final curtain-panel arrangement.
Inputs rather than recommendations
Fullness, allowances and prices are entered by you. The example button uses clearly labelled demonstration values, and no retailer product or price feed is connected. The planning guide sets out the formulas, examples and their limits.
